Doubting
is so human, -
Loyal folks are doubters,
Whose imagery is wanting,
But who find stretching it by far too hard;
What they cannot squeeze in their hand,
Is to be distrusted,
As phoney and
Doubtful!

Thomas
Had his own doubts,
The Lord talked of “Mansions”,
Thus he hoped for a big white house,
On Saint Thomas Avenue in heaven
With such great anticipation!
He retained his nickname
Loyal “Doubting
Thomas”

Doubters
Are men of God
Whose imagination
Has a need for expansion to
Forbid their dreams to fall victim of doubt,
And forget that “Impossible”
Is God’s favorite word
For all loyal
Doubters.

This is certainly a poem for this moment in time for me. At this moment I have so many mental pictures I can not categorize them properly. The ones I can categorize rebel against the slot they’re placed in. I can’t find the words I seek, nor the proper thoughts to use the words in describing them. I am definitely the President of this group . . . if only for a day (I hope). Thanks for defining the problem. [:->)

Elizabeth

Another good poem arn't we all doubters at times"?
Unless I put my finger in the holes in His hand,until I place my hand into His side,"I will never believe"
Then awhile later a week or so--Thomas Jesus said;
Shameful; Thomas---My Lord,and My God.
Keep writing Elizabeth you have much to offer.
