There were so many so what did we do with our lives

All of the memories we had before that moment of tragedy
You didn't think about how many people you hurt that's so sad to see

I sometimes just can't help but think of the day
That you decided to take your precious life away

For the longest time i had no idea what i would do after your death
I got that phone call from your mother and i was suddenly out of breath

Now anything that i do it reminds me of you
I kept thinking for sure my life was through

I lay at night in my bed and pray to God that i'll get to see you again
But it seems so long to wait and i don't think i can wait until then

When you took your life that was such a bond to brake
My life is almost worthless now with every move i make

I've tried stay calm before i have to go to that horrible place
The funeral home is not where i want to see your face

Well today is gone now but this day wasn't normal
I said a last goodbye to my best friend at her funeral

For this to just be made up.... it watered my eyes. Not just because it was sad..but because this is life..right here in this poem. If your not losing a friend to Suicide, your losing one to an STD or... something like that. This is reality that hits hard. Very well done. Much love.
