Array ( [sid] => 88431 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Is She Alone [time] => 2005-03-23 02:07:19 [hometext] => This poem is about a girl whose light has faded and so has her faith. And when people look at her, they feel sorry but don't help because they think she's a waste of time. But god is the only one who helps. [bodytext] => The light within her weakens,
she see's no need to live.
She wanders for affection,
but no one seems to give.

She travels an overwhelming road,
to which there is no end.
She wants to be with others,
but with them she cannot blend.

She wilts away in silence,
and no one seems to care.
She wants someone to help her,
but she thinks that no one's there.

Then she see's a growing light,
and a hand comes from the sky.
He grabs her hand and helps her,
and teaches her to fly.

Truely, God alone can set us free.
A beautiful and inspiring write this is... simple and powerful at the same time.
What a wonderful note it ends on- filled with new hope and promise.

Well done.
