[bodytext] => Curious eyes try to solve the mystery that is I, Only by the clothes I wear, The way I speak, These eyes that have seen such impurity… You think you have me figured… You Don’t Know Me… A silent shadow, Lurking in every corner, A figment of your peripheral vision… I am just another worthless walking corpse, Compared to your mighty status… My purpose for living was only to wish for my death, And spread my plague of misery… These are your thoughts of me, Your egotistical views of the “Typical Goth…” You Don’t Know Me… I am a poet, An actual human being with the capability of feeling, An individual with a mind… Yes, we Goths are of the same species as you, Though you may think we are demons disguised as every-day humans… Ah, such cynicism… But, do I not have the right to be? You strip me of all the dignity that I have left, And you expect me to stay quiet and endure?
