this made me laugh. I'm not sure if that's what you meant by it. Your wording is so precise......"a multitude of destitute avulsions of worth from self"----so good.

"boredom is failure is me"----I also liked that part.

I sometimes think that it is hard to be bored. There is so much to do! There is so much that I haven't read. There is so much that I haven't written. There is so much that I haven't experienced, to be bored is failur, in a way. But it's ok, because to recognize that you are bored, gives you the opportunity to explore something that you haven't before, something that would be interesting. Once we stop exploring, then there is no point in continuing living. I feel like the line "boredom is failure is me" is very meditative. Because, I don't know if you know anything about meditation, but the whole principle of meditation is based off of the practice of bringing your attention back to the present moment---you might think, "I am bored right now", but in order to make that obervation you must come back to where you are, which is very meditative. Meditation is all about observation. I think it would all do us good to pay more attention.....to anything really...Because once we start paying attention, we start to see that there is so much to notice. Sorry, I rambled on a little bit

Be True,
zenmind

Yeah... I feel that if you are bored you are not doing something that you should be doing. If you are bored that means you are missing out on something else, and if you are missing out on something else I can see how that could be a type of failure. So that first line was good... great write...
