and push it to my skin
i open empty wounds and smile,
shudder, shiver, grin

for all this pain is really pleasure
the razors kiss-i'll never forget
the pain i will endure-and treasure

And i'll feel the blood escape my veins
as my happiness and soul escape me
and my masachistic love remains

And it always will.

For as long as i have blood
i'll wish to see
that i'm still here, alive,
yet this is what distresses me

my arms, red, raw
a legacy
of the pain i felt
and the pleasure of release
don't stop me, ever, please [comments] => 2 [counter] => 217 [topic] => 36 [informant] => ashleigh4 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

Hey, Ashleigh personally I thought this was an awesome poem and I can relate to it a lot. The line, "and the pleasure of release" strikes a chord DEEP within me. This was awesome stop insulting yourself and keep up these poems!

Masochistical love remains?? I never really thought about a razor having much to do with being Masochistical but i really think it possibly could. I guess i defined Masochistical pain as more of a painful sexual thing that couples consent to rather than it referring to harmful pain. But thats getting into extremes of the Masochistical person. Thanks for sharing this one it's definately one i can relate to being as you are using the razor, many people use knives and other things...this is a great write..
