Array ( [sid] => 86505 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Invisible Wings [time] => 2005-03-05 04:13:17 [hometext] => for paul 02.02.91-25.12.04 the poem is kinda spontaneous. just wrote it now. not too good. [bodytext] => Waiting hopefully here
Hoping to have lost a reason to shed more tears
Wishing I was there to save you
Trying to make believe nothing is true

Graves should be reserved for only the old
The young should never have to be deathly cold
We don’t want people to die
But they do, there’s no use in lies

Confront the stranger in your heart
Feel your way through dark
Vanquish your fears, and love yourself more
Try to fly, and pick yourself up off the floor

Sitting by the phone
Hoping you’re alive at home
Waiting for that call
That will put an end to it all

We’ve all tried to sew up the rip
In our hearts, and mend a broken friendship
But you put an end to everything we had
I knew you were hurting, but I never thought it was this bad

Confront the stranger in your heart
Feel your way through dark
Vanquish your fears, and love yourself more
Try to fly, and pick yourself up off the floor

If you could see me now
Maybe you’d see my pain somehow

The phone rings
Afraid of the news this call brings
I whisper “Hello?”
But I already know

Confront the stranger in your heart
Feel your way through dark
Vanquish your fears, and love yourself more
Try to fly, and pick yourself up off the floor

But like you, I cannot do any of these things
Because like you, I believe I have no wings [comments] => 4 [counter] => 208 [topic] => 36 [informant] => blueeyedevil13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

Anothers wing that did not fly
Should not keep you from the sky
Fly little bird as you are lighter now
Your loss of a loved one will show you how.
Believe in yourself and the growth you will know
There's no place for angels like you in the dark down below.
This is a fantastic write....keep writing This is a promise of knowledge you are gaining that I see.
