Array ( [sid] => 8553 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Words of Stone [time] => 2002-12-14 07:30:00 [hometext] => This poem is really just about loneliness and how it feels to be left out. [bodytext] => This patter against my window, is my only blanket of solitude. This banging at my door, my head, it is all to crude. Words hurt us, breaking us apart, we need a new beginning, I need a new start.

I feel like no one knows, just how I feel. My computer screen blink blue, open the window, but nothing to steal. No one is here for me; I'm all alone. Your words cannot help me, your words; your stone. You make me carry this burden, burden of my own. I cannot run from it, your words of stone.

It is amazing how powerful words can be, or how little are necessary. But they cloud my judgement, so I cannot see nor carry. I cannot see what is in front of my eyes, nothing but a lie, I cannot expose it.
What did you say? I missed it, your proposement. I need to find my place, to escape your harsh tone. I feel like my soul has been broken, shattered, like your words of stone.
