the explanation
the fallen one raising me
i slide my hand out of yours
your grasp tightens and fails
you've lost hold of the fragile
and though your accusations
are senseless they are true
i am doubting you

i promise everyday
that i love you
i swear every minute
"i'm no liar"
so how do i tell you
i am

i never stopped picturing the image
the blade on my wrist
two simple cuts of penance
and i'm through
all of your lies
the trust you disguise
two little cuts in your name
two little cuts under my sleeves
you see me this way
i'll this is the way i'll remain

in your eyes i am the victim
the drowning
you are the savior
the steady handed miracle
i see you as the wrecking ball
unable to stop on the deathly plunge
blind to the cause of impact

we've collided you and i
the victim and the fabled
which is which is irrelevant
we see each other as the light
the burning light in the darkness
the quick and blinding flash

Sometimes, the one you love the most could possibly be the one destroying you.

there is no sometimes when it comes to the destruction of love. love is the test of who we are the hurt ripping us apart to reveal what we are made of. what we would stand to lose and what we wouldn't becomes who we choose to be daily by our own mockery. love is our ally for a short period and then becomes our greatest adversary the one incorruptable refusing to yeild to any of our weakness'. it devours us and when we stand again the half that is left screams strength and we rebuild the other half, the weakness' by our denial of falling. love is inevitable destruction.~weepingprophet
