A girl I never met looks back
I have everything I want
I have everything I need
But yet I don't know
Who is looking at me in the mirror
The empty blue eyes
Etched in my mind
Why, though she is smiling
Her eyes hold so much pain?
Does she not know who she is either?
I feel like a stranger in my own body
Who am I?
What am I?
Why don't I feel like I belong?
Where do I belong?
So many questions
So little answers
I've wondered, wandered through life,
Seeking the answers
And here I am
Looking back at myself
And I feel like I don't know me.

Opinion- there is not "who you are" and "who you are not" you are breathing, hurting, refusing to give in to life's suicide. you are potential, the use is your choice. who we are is irrelevant, an unanswerable question. wanderers maybe, hopeless we are characterized and dominated by our flaws.

you stirred feeling inside of me, what it would be categorized as is irrelevant. continue to search for the unanswerable questions, we are all circles.

~ i am pain, what brings me to my knees is thanks that i can still feel something.~weepingprophet

I know that feeling
I often ask myself that
I think that you describe that feeling in an excelent way, how it is to be a stranger to yourself With love Pia
