As we talk there on the couch
You tell me of your dreams
And I tell you of mine;
Surprisingly enough,
We are in both.
Your kiss explores my face
And behind closed eyes
I melt into your warmth
And the saftey of your arms.

Storms of my thoughts;
Remembrances,
All ignorant of time.
"And," he stated,
"With this ring, I thee wed."
And now this golden memory is
Perched upon my finger.

Years later
We sit across the breakfast table
With our every-day wall
Of newsprint between us.
Our thoughts are our own;
Sharing them is something we
Haven't done in years.
But occasionally I still wonder
If the smoldering embers of the fireplace
Will ever again ignite your eyes. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 154 [topic] => 24 [informant] => _myonlyone_ [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LoveRemembered )

Nice! The second stanza to me seemed the weakest but I see why
you have it. The way you tied in the beginning at the end was masterful.

Nice job!! This was so good - and something to always keep in mind
in relationships.
