Array ( [sid] => 83628 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A NEW DAY [time] => 2005-02-09 08:41:19 [hometext] => i just needed a little reassurance and i got in the form of a coin from a buddy whom i never think about except in passing just goes to show we never know who is watching [bodytext] => I am glad for another day
Thanks to a buddy who passed my way
He gave to me a simple coin with a cross
Just to say your not alone
I awoke to another day

We let life get us down
We let the things in this world
Turn us into stone
A simple coin with a cross
I awoke to another day

With sickness and sadness all around
Pressure from work pressure from family
All I wanted to do was run and hide
A simple coin with a cross
Here I am in another day

Those that seem to care are not really there
Those that seem to care have their own lives
Those that seem to care can’t be found
Those who seem to care can’t feel the real pain
You think about letting go of life
Then a buddy comes along with
A simple coin with a cross
Ready to start another day

I am glad for those that share in my life
Those few out there that can affect us
With a simple coin
Thanks for helping me to start another day

Very beautiful poem. You had a God moment. A time God saw that you needed him and he was there for you. Don't ever look at small things as being tiny. But know that God works through the littliest things to show he loves you. Read my new poem I LOVE YOU. great write and beautiful message of hope for all. sandy
