I’m willing to just try this
Give us a chance again
Maybe things are different
Like they should have been.

It seems we keep on finding
Us, back here to try again
This time let’s follow through
Just Don’t Hurt Me In The End.

I’ve been destroyed before you
I’ve been again since then
I know you never meant that
Just happened in the end.

This time it feels so different
Just starting out as friends
And no real expectations
Just meeting soon and then.

Nothing to be scared of
But still it’s there for me
I’m still just so self conscious
I’ll try to set it free.

It’s time to face the real world
To seek and try to find
The truth within our hearts
To try this one last time.

If we know where we stand then
We can move on from that wait
And get back to the living
And leave this in our wake.

To put this all behind us
And move ourselves ahead
To get to what we are looking for
Through everything we’ve said.

I just want us to be honest
To let it all come out
The day I see your face
Don’t leave me with doubt.

Let’s say what we are feeling
And not hide it again
I don’t want you to get hurt
Just Don’t Hurt Me In The End.

I’m still just somewhat frightened
It comes and goes again
It’s just anticipation
Just Don’t Hurt Me In The End.

Please, I am just asking you
At least just be my friend?
I don’t want to be lonely now
Just Don’t Hurt Me In The End.

No matter what may happen
If it doesn’t work again
Let’s leave it as a chance we took
Just Don’t Hurt Me In The End.

I’m leaving my mind open
Whether more, or only friends
Just ready to see what is to be
Just Don’t Hurt Me In The End. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 222 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Joker17 [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

I love this, the length, the repeats... especially the repeats. This is really really really good. I think your going to be a poet that I'll keep checking the new stuff on.

Thank you VERY much for your feedback. It's comments like that that continue to make me want to write, and write, and write. You're very kind, and I like your poetry as well. I will also be visiting your site to read your new pieces.

I will do my best not to let down your expectations, but I can say, whatever written, it will be honest, and from my heart and soul.

Thanks again, and thanks for todays biggest smile.

Sincerely
J. Samuelson (Joker17)
