Trapped in a moment of time feeling so enchanted
Time has not changed how I feel for you
Yet each day I seem to take you for granted
Me eyes may wander but yet my heart remains intact
I maybe guilty of flirting but I’ve never strayed and that’s a fact
I won’t praise you from the highest point screaming out your name
The fact that you’re still with me means nobody is quite the same
We have jumped upon life’s roundabout, once upon a story
Let’s take our love back to yesteryear and conclude it in all its final glory
Personal jokes and phrases remain inside my heart
But nothing can ever destroy our love or tear us two apart
A fragment may break off with the daily grind
But through all the pain and despair you’re a treasure I had to find
From northern tip to Southern point destiny chose to meet
Were miles apart but souls entwined its nature’s greatest feat
Though I might not bear my soul or wear my heart upon my sleeve
The distance that engulfs our roots makes us weep and grieve
Time, distance and departure are fractions of the sum
Imprints of our memories stored in an eternal album
I only view them once a year as it’s all I need to do
You stamped your love upon my heart I know all I need is you
I sign off with a message that is sent form up above
“Gifts are material things but the strongest bond is love”
