Like putting salt in an open wound.
It hurts, stings, and makes me nauseous,
Just to see you walk away and not look back.
I loved you, helped you, and I cared for you when
No one else would. What happened with those
Happy, fun, and exciting times?
When will you look back and see me
In pain, and the burning tears running down my face?
Will that make you feel better?
To see me in pain, and just leave me here, in Solitude?
Or do you just leave when someone cares for you deeply?
You keep walking like nothing happened between us.
While Im still on the ground with my fists and teeth clenched,
And my face is scared with the tears you let loose.
Please look back and see me again.
Give me another chance to be with you, love you
And care for you again. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 254 [topic] => 22 [informant] => twitch06 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
