Would you come back to me
Or would I still be left here on my own
Watching you walk away with her in your arms
You know that when you said I ran away from you
I didn’t
I was walking slowly
And you didn’t even try to stop me
I now know I made a big mistake
And it does hurt
It hurts that you can find someone else
So much prettier than me
And when I held someone else’s hand
It didn’t feel right
If you go now
Just stay away
Keep away from my dreams
And leave me alone
Its for the best if I forget you
Cause I don’t wanna love you anymore [comments] => 4 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 22 [informant] => prozac_memory [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

You emit wonderful emotion into this poem. I know exactly what it is like to feel that way. Be strong, it will get better.

Great write,

Krystal-Dawn

"If I stitched on her smile"

Don't know exactly why that cut me as much as it did but its very very powerful. I guess just thinking that your true love, could find someone else so easily.... yea, I know that hurts. Any poem that captures and can transfer pain to the reader as well as this is just incredible. You've tapped into a line of emotion that I think a lot of people will respond to. Great poem.

You have captured these feelings with both simplicity and finesse.
