How I can laugh, now
At the thoughts of you
That once hurt so badly to remember
Quite impressive
How what once was broken
Has been mended, with the simple passing of time
Dare I say, made better than before
I won't cry anymore, because it's over
Instead I'll smile, because it happened
And get on with my life
The heartache won't leave me bitter
Not after I've realized
How much I learned from it
And I swear to you
On everything I am
I won't regret loving you
I'll still miss you though
But not forever
With a little more time
I'll be over this
And you'll be the one left

Wow... I can kinda relate to this one! ^_^ Nicely written poem that only speaks the truth. You can only hurt as long as you let yourself hurt. :)
