Who loved being mischievous & wild,
Who got the slipper a few times of my mum,
I laughed as she slapped a flip flop across my bum.

Quite an obnoxious little cow,
To be nice I didn’t know how,
I’d walk around think I knew it all,
Too ignorant to see pride comes before a fall.

A messed up, drunk young girl,
Who hated the whole entire world,
She lashed out & hid her feelings,
Didn’t think there was anything wrong with stealing.

A violent & aggressive young woman who was a mess,
Sometimes too drunk to even get undressed,
Wandering around is a state of drunken fantasy
Was too scared to even face up to reality.

A woman who self harmed & shouted abuse,
Who didn’t know where she was, really confused,
Hurt others before they could hurt her,
Everything in her life was just a drunken blur.

A weak person who rolled over to troubles,
Hit the pubs & hide in the vodka doubles,
But that was me last week & yesterday,
In becoming stronger I have come quite a long way.

Aw why is this sad poetry? It's great how you can look at your past exactly as it is - in the past. Thanks for summing up what so many young people are still doing with themselves - shows us that there's still light at the end of the tunnel =)
