My mind has not left you,
since the setting of the sun.
Every moment, in my soul
you have dwelt.
When I gaze upon your face,
my heart does melt.

Every day is a struggle,
as my love for
you does grow.
And wishing our lives were
different,
does not make it so.

Tears on your face,
bring tears to my heart.
Your pain I want to erase,
our lives I want to start.

Though moment by moment
we cannot be together,
know that our love, like a lifeline,
is a binding tether.

One that girds and ties,
and holds,
to weather whatever
the future unfolds.

So as you enter this new stage,
let me be with you,
as we turn the page.
To share the joy and the pain,
to soak up each experience,
as the rain.

I am here,
just a call away.
I’ll never be far,
As long as you want me to stay.

And though I hurt,
When we’re apart.
I know that you and I,
together,
make one heart.

that is such sweetness hammer, i take it you are longing for engagement/marraige yes? thats how i feel about someone but i think hes taking advantage of me and taking it for granted. im almost convinced hes not genuine. he thinks so much of himself. but it may just have been a mood swing he had to day. well im hoping, because he used to be really nice. now he thinks hes really cool and like, really funny and thats why i wrote the poem "transformation". it hurts to give your heart like that. i feel like a fool. peoplwehange. sometimes for the worst. i have to accept that. but at least you two have each other. i bear you my best wishes! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
