[bodytext] => I no longer need to remember. The pages of this world are folded and quietly shut. This page of myself finished, and written more beautifully on the light of her eyes than on these pages of paper pouring and drawn. I smile and I can smile openly and the world is withdrawn from me in its sorrow and its grief. Every life I see; her small comforting hands, her entirety; her flush and rising breast to my steel smiles and awkward grace; or of his casual complaint, his false despair. I would have called him brother, were there brothers yet to love in this world of concrete sleep and lifelessness.
The rain tumbles, spills and slips into my eyes; I let the heat rise and devour my throat and call myself to remind myself that it is ok, that it is ended still and all the world is fallen. These pages here, they are fire. They are joyful song singing sadness to the stars, and they are alone, save my rasping voice reading and unruly eyes wandering over the words. All I see I feel I forget the songs she sang; the undying man rendered mute and hollow on drink and dried brown hair. The world is written here, the world remains the old mans eyes, the softness and security deep down inside.
In desperation I love. The sunlight that I need, the stars I cannot see. Her fingers brushing fingers through her tears, her anger, pain, her love and life breathing the smallest flower into dust. She was beautiful written, and above, she was beautiful vacant star and silver in the sky. And I loved; I loved my love the unfilled love the curtains and the sun.
And I am older now and I am a child now imagining the sea, the wild breaking wild out of cages and sympathy. I no longer remember. I no longer forget. The pages of the waters of the sea are beyond me; I cannot carve their effigy. Solid white on white pages the laughter of the sea. Wow. That is amazing. I loved the imagery and metaphors that you continued throughout the piece. My favorite quote was

"Every life I see; her small comforting hands, her entirety; her flush and rising breast to my steel smiles and awkward grace; or of his casual complaint, his false despair. I would have called him brother, were there brothers yet to love in this world of concrete sleep and lifelessness."

So. Effing. Brilliant.
