[hometext] => I wrote this after reading a story in my english class called The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I guess you would have read the story to fully understand the poem.
[bodytext] => I stare out of the window In my office room. I’m one of the lucky people. My employment is the proof. I tell you what you’re supposed to do, And show you exactly how it’s done. I tell you to hurry. You assure me that you’ll run. You arrive after completing everything I asked, Yet you’re still not finished, There’s still just one more task. You open your mouth in protest, “But Mr. Mitty…” “Mr. Mitty!!!” I must have gone into another daze, It’s lunch time, 12 o’clock noon. You carefully feed me my meal As I stare out of the tiny window In my padded room.
