smothering herself with thoughts of a better world
thinking and drinking and wasting the time
sittin back ralaxing but going crazy inside
(get out get out get out)
but she sits and sips and watches the clouds
and thinks of if she could escape right now...
would she leave and be gone and go on alone
would she get up put down her drink and leave her home?
(get out get out get out now)
wanting so badly... but staring outside
takes some more sips and lets out a sigh
she says, one more drink and i'll think some more
so she sits and she drinks and hears him open the door
what would it have been like if she had left today
gone goodbye i went far far away
thinking and sitting, watching him come near
steadies herself for the blow, she sets down her beer.

Life can be tough to live and love can make it tougher. So many people want to be in love, but the only drawback is that there are different consequences based on each particular relationship. Love can be had very easily, it's the maintaining effect that is the hard job. Love is work even though many feel like it shouldn't be. There always comes a point in one's life when they must ask themselves is love worth it! Only the person asking will be able to answer honestly. It's good to get advice and opinions of others, but in the end...it's the people who make up the relationship that matters. I hope the pretty little girl will be able to find in her heart what she wants and what she expects of love.
