Trying to find the pieces of our love,
Trying to find the pieces of my heart
Our love will never be repaired
I look up and see you fading away, reaching out your hand
I get up to run to you, but you continue to fade
As I get closer, you get farther
You told me to stop and so I did
Is it really true?
Is our love really gone?
I’m nothing without you
Our love is too far, we can’t reach each other
Is this the day?
I can’t think anymore
I’m only a broken piece of your memory
You come closer and me a hug
I start to cry in your arms, but……. You’ve already gone
I am nothing… just a broken girl with a broken heart

I like the way you worked
with the broken pieces and
ultimately the broken girl
with a broken heart.

wow that was really wierd... i put in the search broken and i read this first. I don't know how it happened, but that poem basically explains almost everything I'm feeling right now. Like I'm the broken girl with the broken heart. I just got dumped and he wanted another girl. He keeps drifting farther away and wow... that poem just really got to me
thanks
Kylie

I love this!! It's so true in so many cases!! Congrats for really sucking out the inner feelings of the broken girl.
