" To Forever Love "

God’s Angel’s were calling for Autobee
I want him up here, in Heaven with me
It happened in the year of two thousand and one
One day he is with us, the next day he is gone
Leaving hundreds of survivors behind to cry
As his day had come for him to die
He was just a young man starting his life
A murderous inmate caused all this strife
On this day, he was called by God above
Wanting to hold him, and give him his love
He was working in the kitchen, fixing their meal
He was brutally attacked by the grill
We all heard it broadcast over the news
Autobee was a good staff, enforcing the rules
Maybe management will now, get us more bods
At least we can pray, up to our God
Our staff shortage cost us, one of our own
Leaving hundreds of line staff, standing to morn
On this very sad day, he had to go
In our hearts, a memory of him will forever grow
On this day, he was called by God above
Wanting to hold him, To Forever Love!!!!!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
