What the Hell! You Idiot!
Bugger off! ****! Oh NO!
It just goes on and we say, “SOOO!”

We yell we scream it or under breathe
We cry or maybe in heightened stress,
“O My God!” mostly in extreme
Is there any meaning when we blaspheme?

Is there any consideration to this word of high meaning,
when it’s just blurted out in mindless babble or screaming?
Why is it said so often in gist?
Is He just a myth in our minds or does He exist?

We call His name out loud when our faces are wet
our hearts have regret or upset
things have gone wrong and no one to shame
We just have a go at Him, who else is there to blame?

In hopeless times, sickness or devastation.
Whom do we pray for reconciliation?
Funny how that word increases in stature
Our needs are desperate; we need him to feel better.

Not all believe, although one day we will know,
This extraordinary word to whom millions of heart go
Is there for each one of us if we dare
“O my God” I thank you that You are there.
