[bodytext] => Why I am I here? What is my purpose of being here? I ask these questions over and over in my head But I still can't find the answers I search and search, over and over Trying to remember, but I can’t I guess I’ll remain as an empty shell lost in eternality I continue to fall, never to be able to be put back together I try to sow myself up with needles, but it never works All I wanted was to be happy But instead I’m bound to the chains around my body I try to spread my wings and fly away, but the chains hold me back I denied my true feelings and build a wall between others and me I don't want to hurt you, that’s why I stay away There will always be a wall between us no matter what I try to protect you from my pain I push you away and lie to you But you keep coming back As you come closer the pain spreads all around I try to run away, but no matter what it keeps following me All the guilt, all the suffering It creeps up behind me I hear the pain in the hearts around me As I walk, I hear the voices Weeping and moaning of their pain As you come closer you see my pain I lie to you but you don’t believe me I see the light from you and I reach out my hand and you reach out yours I smile and go towards it, hoping you would pull me towards the light But the darkness pulls me away I try run to you, but I was too late You were gone and left me in the darkness A child walks up to me and gives me a flower I smile faintly as I remember I use to be happy as him I’m only an empty shell surrounded by darkness Tears of blood comes down my face I am a prisoner of darkness [comments] => 4 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 13 [informant] => hate [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
