I'm always looking your way.
I didn't really understand it,
but then I realised one day.
I've fallen in love with you,
And it's hard to think of why.
I think it was that day,
You looked me in the eye.

I worked up all my courage,
To ask you for your name.
And when you gave it to me,
I was very glad I came.
You asked me for my number,
And to my surprise.
I wrote it down for you,
While you stared into my eyes.

I wanted you to call me,
Though I didn't think you would.
So I stared at your number,
And wondered if I should.
The phone rang very loudly,
And my heart skipped a beat.
I found myself picking up the phone,
While jumping to my feet.

We talked and talked for hours,
But then you had to go.
You said "tomorrow at 6 o'clock,
And I just couldn't say no.
I saw you waiting for me.
So I walked right up to you.
I laughed and smiled while we where together,
I'm glad you did that too.

You leaned right in to kiss me,
I know I leaned in too.
But then I was walking away,
Confused, because of my love for you.
Now we do not even speak,
And I don't know what to do.
But I know deep in my heart,
I'm still in love with you. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 208 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Roshie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
