Where's the Sun that once shone bright?
Where's the fair force to survive?
Who's been robbing of the light?

Alas! Darkness and night
Belched greedy grey white
That swallowed my rainbow
In stretches of pale snow

I'd given up hope
On restoring what's been
O, how could I cope
With a world without green

But then, from the South
On rejoicing wings
Fulfilled, wise and proud
Came in gentle Spring

As melted the cover
Of my unwanted lover
The numb veil was torn
And I was reborn

Under the golden globe
Clad in this nacrous rain
And a flashy new robe
I lost myself in my domain

But then, my Old Rome
Was brought down with a crack
Covered by a dark dome
And the darkness came back

There's the nourisher of life
There's the Sun that once shone bright
There's the fair force to survive
Once again in Autumn's might [comments] => 8 [counter] => 204 [topic] => 27 [informant] => Hurretje [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 35 [ratings] => 7 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

So brillantly written Hurretje, with so much unleashed beauty, and such color, even when the darkness returned, you still had a way of making the overall poem flow with such an awesome rythem, definately a 5* for this, I loved it. an awesome compliment to the first autum poem you wrote earlier.
Take Care Always.
