About this poem, IT`S DEPRESSING. I debated whether to post this one. Inspired by some of the "my life sucks" stuff I`ve seen on the web.) [bodytext] =>

GUIDE ME, guide me off this dark and hostile sea.
HELP ME, help me, I`m here clinging to debris.
SHINE BRIGHT, shine bright. Please shine for me lighthouse light.
LIGHT`S DIM, light`s so dim. Show me the way I must swim.

Yesterday these waters were mirror smooth.
The sky was blue. The slight breezes only soothed.
Our cares were few. We trusted our little boat.
All that`s changed. I`m all alone. Must stay afloat.

SO DARK, so dark. Now it`s just me and the sharks.
BIG ROCKS, big rocks instead of welcoming docks.
BIG WAVES, big waves planning a watery grave.
SO FAR, so far to the shore where you are.

Nothing to believe in now that I`m alone.
Once there was you, now there`s only the unknown.
My guiding star has gone out. Must wait for the dawn.
Make for the shore. Mustn`t think about what`s gone.
