Some people hide from rumors
But I stepped in front of this fast-moving train
Running break necked down the beated track
His handsome face and charming speech
They didn't tempt me on their own
Vulnerability and longing lie beneath his brittle surface
And I wished to fill that broken space

Some people run away at the first sign of disaster
Some people are content with what they see on the surface
But I am not some people, someone, or everyone
I am me
His past, his present, and his future..
I wished to catch a glimpse,
Just one look beyond the book's tattered handsome cover
And I was shut in the pages after just one peek

Some people don't believe in second chances
Some people no longer believe in truth
But I believe in that one percent chance
Even though he must have been laughing all along
His lies are so good, his face stays so straight
They're good enough to fool a fool like me
He tried his hardest
But with this fool he didn't succeed.

I made a mole-hill of this mountain
I faced this disaster to the end
I tried to give him a chance
