Eyes filled with these tears, wish there was a way past,
Your reflection on the other side, your precious face I see,
Wish you could be on this side standing here with me,
Your laugh echoing in my memory, as a tear falls down my face,
Your smile flashing before my eyes, no one can take your place,
I wish I could forget you, move on and let you go,
I've tryed so very hard, but my heart simply says "no",
Just one glance of your soul, I think it just might be,
Maybe it's that thing you can feel, but you cant see,
I know and I realize that I haven't known you that long,
I dont know how this feeling came to be so strong,
As the window clouds with the drops of water from my breath,
I make a heart within it as water falls into it's depth,
I swipe my hand across it and the heart will fade,
Only to re-appear when I come back again the next day,
I wish I could reach you, this window I should smash,
But here I will remain, trapped behind this glass.
