100 pills or more.
Shove them down my throat,
And fall down to the floor.

I wish I could sit,
Underneath a scalding shower.
The hot water burning me,
Overwhelming me with its power.

I wish I could lie,
In a bath full of blood.
Slashing at my wrists,
Till I finally feel good.

I wish I could hang,
Swaying from a tree.
Rope burns choking me,
So I can eventually be free.

To you this may seem odd,
Someone of my age.
A suicidal person,
Is trapped inside a cage.

Screaming to get out,
Of the life that they are in.
Yet struggling to find the courage,
To end the pain within. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 36 [informant] => diamond_tears [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

Rather haunting, but in a good way. It was great. I loved the imagery. I know it's tough... I used to think these very same things, day after day, week after week, starring at the ceiling at night, just waiting for it all to go away. I really felt your poem... Just try to look at life with an eye of irony, and you should find the humor you need to make it through the day. If not, then just try to find the happiness inside. Someone suggested this to me once, and all I did was scoff at if. There was no happiness, no joy. None at all. But just try to stick it out. Live in the moment and forget everything else. If ya ever want to chat, you know where to reach me! Gigi.

and so she jumps of the edge with the rope round her throat
whilst she's hanging there still from her hand falls a note
on the note was this poem written only by her
decribing the need she craves to be hurt...

This was upsetting
even more so because I know its real

4/5
