[time] => 2004-09-03 10:55:52 [hometext] => They don’t start too often, and I’m not just referring to one group, but when they do start, maybe it’s not that bad to them, but the emotions and fears left inside me are unbearable! [bodytext] => Maybe I take it too seriously, but trust me you would if one day some one’s threatening to break your ribs, while the next month they want to be your friend, what would you think?__________________________________________________

What is your problem?
Why can’t you just leave me alone?
I just want to get on with my school work!
Not so scared of school that I’ll stay at home.

I’ve been to school the last 2 days.
I wouldn’t go for loads last year.
I just want to be left alone!
Not to be pumped up with tears…!

Well today one of them smacked into me.
And it startled me a lot.
I felt like punching her really hard,
As the anger pulsed through me in adrenalin shots!

I didn’t actually do any thing back.
I didn’t really want to fight.
It was just the fact she’d started for no actual reason!
That made me change thoughts from wrong to right.
__________________________________________

So those one’s that won’t be named,
The ones that made me suicidal last year!
Are turning round asking us to be mates,
I JUST WANT THEM TO DISAPPEAR!

I just want them to leave me alone!
I’m not their mate!
They made me suicidal,
Now all I feel is hate!

I can try to put it in the past,
And forget about what they did.
But DON’T ask me to like them!
That’s just so bloody stupid!

They carried knives in their bags,
And they were gonna STAB some one!
And I was just some person,
Knowing if I didn’t tell I’d get done.

I didn’t like that girl,
Infact I REALLY HATED HER!
But that doesn’t make the difference,
Because getting STABBED no one deserves…

Ok, so I’m just some terrible person,
Because I dobbed my mates in.
What ever they call me, I don’t care any more!
Just don’t ask me to be their friend!

So I’m seeing them round the corridors,
And it’s all, “hi, you’re totally my best friend”,
And I ask “what’s your problem?
Why can’t you just leave me at rest?”

So they run away laughing,
Like this all just a sick little game!
I don't understand their problem,
And I WON'T be involved in the dangers they spray!

So yeah, they can threaten to STAB ME!
Because I won't fall into their trap.
...But all the while they're going on,
I'm almost ready to snap...! [comments] => 4 [counter] => 184 [topic] => 67 [informant] => deathdrop [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => schoolproblems )

I remember middle school and some of highschool--I was always victimized by somebody. Even as a young adult in the workplace, ther were always girls that decided not to like me for some reason. My father always told me that if I just stood up to them, they'd back off, and he told me an inspiring story about some guys that picked on him that he told off who never bothered him again. It's a travesty this stuff still happens. Maybe you can turn the table on these creeps someday. In any case, you're the better person, always, and you can sleep at night knowing that. Chin up, head high!
Best wishes,
Andrea

wow this was amazing I could feel the emotions and your pain in this poem. I liked the ending.

So yeah, they can threaten to STAB ME!
Because I won't fall into their trap.
...But all the while they're going on,
I'm almost ready to snap...!
