but I cant be alive
my life is always nothing
no matter how hard i strive

I'm dead on the inside
and this blood is fake
this is just an aweful dream
and soon I will wake

The only thing I feel
is the opening of skin
no one knows what its like
and how hard its been

What you see is all a lie
nothing runs in my soul
I'm just a broken child
wishing to be whole

I slice away at flesh
and tie knots on a noose
wishing I could end my life
just cutting it all loose

But i have made promises
that I would not part
I'm just waiting for the end
and have been from the start

Theres nothing for me
only deception and death
I can only sit here
wishing this my last breath

But I know I'll go on
living while still dead
wishing only thoughts of death

excellent write. rhymes and flow were fantastic.

lies and deception are a part of life. sometimes you cant control the cause, but you have control of the effect. the fact that you were made to make promises shows that people care about you being alive, or so i assume. life is what we make of it, i hope you make the best out of it. =]

That seems a lot like me, all you wish for is death but for one reason or another you are forced to continue on. I thought you did a good job of writing this and liked the word choices. .. yeah, it just seemed good to me.
