While feeling the music there in your heart.
Just step to your freedom, step if you dare,
And don’t fear the outcome before the start.

Take the first step it’s the hardest of course,
With a maze of lost souls hiding your path.
Just give yourself time don’t try to force;
Watch for the shadows that seethe with its wrath.

On through the night as you make your own way,
Shadows will twist and they’ll try to deceive.
Though you may stumble this game you must play,
The key to your vict’ry, “Do you believe?”

What is your answer, and where is your faith?
Is it there within you, or on your face?
Without your faith you are destined a wraith,
To live in the darkness outside his grace.

Don’t fall to fear if you’ve never said “Hi.”
He’s waiting to hear so speak to Him now.
If you feel lost there’s no reason to cry,
He’ll find you again for He does know how.

It’s all up to you to ask for His light,
Just open your heart so He can step in.
For when He’s your Lord He’ll give you true sight,
And wash you in Him to cleanse all your sin.

So turn from the lies. Believe not Its words.
They’ll promise so much, delivering none.
Believe only Him, the one that is thirds,
The Ghost who is holy, Father, and Son.

I think you're brave to write about what you believe in. What you wrote about was true, and I understand it. It's a really good poem, expressed really well.
