[bodytext] => Now feel my breaths moisture, As it fogs up the glass. And know I am waiting, For the silence of mass. My melodies flowing, Though my requiem’s long. It’s a dance for the dead, And a heavenly song. You feel the notes pulsing, Soon they vibrate your soul. To guide you from living, To your ultimate goal. To sit in the courtyard, There among all the rest. And answer the question, “Yes, I have passed the test.” But till then you struggle, With your faith and your dreams. But truth it will guide you, Through the shadows and screams. But taking the first step, Is the hardest to do. And if you feel weakened, He will carry you through. He will quiet your fears. He will lift you from pain. He’ll sing to you softly, And be shelter from rain. He will show you the path, But He’ll never use force. He’ll wait for your choosing, And then He’ll walk your course. No matter the distance, That you stray to the night. You’ll never be lonely, For He's always the light. In the tears that you shed, And the words that you speak. The essence of freedom, Is all that you seek. So touch the world softly, And you’ll feel his release. From things you’ve been hiding, While the shadows all cease. And then comes the dawning, It’s your rebirth in love. That’s written by angels, In the Lords skies above. © 2004 Michael David Morash All rights reserved [comments] => 1 [counter] => 210 [topic] => 11 [informant] => mdmorash [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )
