Array ( [sid] => 60921 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Look out your window [time] => 2004-08-21 14:33:31 [hometext] => A dedication to my friends. Let's go outside and play! [bodytext] => (Verse 1 and chorus)
Look out the window
see the rain has stopped
the flood recedes
the animals come out

do not crouch in fear
go and see the sun
frolic in the yard
sing a song to God

(Verse 2 and chorus)
The storm has past
the blossoms re-open
don't mourn the fallen
new ones are blooming

Yes the wind did blow
and the lightening flashed
but we have survived
for another day

(Bridge)
Raindrops filled the river with life filled waters
Fear engulfed the children as God walked the earth
Yet he's nearer now
than when the storm was here
his voice is in the wind
it's hidden in the silence

(Verse 3 and chorus)
Look out my child
you see the storm has past
the bird song rings
the time has come atlast

Let us celebrate
all that we hold dear
see the rainbow child
now no longer fear

(Last verse and Ending)
Look at the sun
how bright it shines right now
the winds of change
are in our favor now

Go out and play
the sun is out right now

(Dedication)
I give my greatest gratfulness
to those who have stood by me in my storms
they offered advice to me
comforted me and rejoiced with me
Put up with my writing
spoke the truth to me
and helped me to make tough decisions in my life
You know who you are
I wish the greatest peace and joy for you
that I could possibly wish
and though I do not know you personally
I am honoured to call you friends.
