[hometext] => This is my second poem here, and I just wrote it so let me know what you all think.
[bodytext] => why do you hurt me keep me hanging on to something that has so long been gone you tell me that you love me but that is not the truth I feel my heart dying at it's ever so young youth you tell me that you'll come back ...come back one day but I know that your heart no longer longs to stay I try to hold on to all those precious memories I try to hold on but you are so out of reach now my love is fading off into the night there is no longer any light you have been gone gone to long and now heart is learning how to move on why do you hurt me.. keep me hanging on to something that has so long been gone you tell me that you need me but is not the truth now I feel I'm dying in my ever so young youth you made a promise to God and me and now you found a new love oh how can that be you tell me that she is perfect in each and every way you tell me that you'll come back come back one day now there is no need of crying no need to face the day for I know you will not come back to me one day now I will face up to all the pain even though I know that my heart will heal one day I fear the long road ahead of me and the things that I have yet to feel now I no longer dream of your sweet.. sweet face, my dreams are filled with pain, my heart is filled with rage you left me all alone in this god forsaken place with broken promises but that is okay for I know you will not come back come back to me one day [comments] => 3 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 43 [informant] => becca_bruce2000 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
