floating bubbles in the air;
some up, some down, some all around,
some breaking in my hair.

Up down, up down
I try to catch them all;
though some just run away from me
and splatt against the wall.

Puff blow, puff blow
to make them go so high;
till one bubble had the nerve
of splatting in my eye.

I cried and cried and cried some more,
but the bubble would not leave,
and that’s the end of bubble-blow
‘cos now I’m really peeved.

This is cute. Makes you wonder what kids REALLY think. Nice one to read to little ones. Good rhythm and interesting point of view.

Jordan --- My seven year old daughter is here at my side... She wanted to hear some poetry and in our search for something appropriate for her... we stumbled across this. She liked it very much (as did I) and giggled in just the right places (as did I).

Thanks for the fun!
