windows to be opened
and doors to be shut

Did they really believe
wmd were there?
The inspectors found nothing
Did they really care?

No. All that was just a fraud
9/11 made them feel like God

They'd tried so hard
to take him out
Twelve years of sanctions
They had no doubt

Half a million dead
Iraqi kids
And a society in ruins
still hadn't rid

the West of that threat
to the oil
now 9/11
made a fruitful soil

Iraq was not a threat
of any kind
except for those
of rabid mind

That wasn't what this
was all about
Just a great opportunity
One last shout

All else had failed
to make him fall
Now was the chance
to make him crawl

Forget wmd
they weren't there
Forget terror links
He wouldn't dare

This was done
because they could
For no better reason than
they believed they should

Everything else
is just PR
WMD, al Qai'da
and the rest
just stuff to snow you
to stand the test

of world opinion
when it was done
To ease the pain
when you lost your son
