left as an outcast
the words they speak...
seem hallow.
lies unfold from lips
smiles turn to daggers
snarling traps
I give and give
they take and take
I try to grow
but only break
struggle and fight
everyday is harder
everday seems worse
everyday I want it to end.
how many times can I fail
how many times can I fall
how many times can I be denied?
false words
my teary eyes
laughing glares
inside I die
the more I try
the more I lose
how much more
can one man do
forced to fail
can never win
yet everytime
I try again
but no more
this time I quit
Im so tired of
all this *****....

oh, holder... you've most definately suceeded here! You know that. WE know that!
I've missed your writes.... even though (as is the case here), they often tug at my heart.

(who did notice the nice flow - but got all caught up in the emotion of this piece)

I think we have all felt like this at some points in our lives. Very nicely expressed.

brilliant and amazing. though, not a surprise really. talent makes anything equal to that calibur. failures create success. giving up fails yourself, and the success is, the worst half of everything succeeds.
