[title] => Friend for life (Part 2)
[time] => 2004-07-08 02:05:06
[hometext] => This song is the 2nd of a 3 song and 1 poem series. This is a dedication to my friend George inspired by his prayer life and devotion to God
[bodytext] => When dark clouds come and block out the skies of your day I'll be a light for you. When waters rise and threaten to crash upon your shore I'll be a wall for you. When you're out there in the world and you can't find your way back home I will go out in the world and I will find you. I'll be a light for you I'll be a wall for you I'll help you through your troubles ...can not separate me from you. When trials come and beat upon you til you want to quit I'll takem all for you. When friends forsake and make your heart to bleed and to sink I'll bring new friends to you. When you're out there in the world and you can't find your way back home I will go out in the world and I will find you. I'll bear your trials for you. I'll bring new friends for you I'll help you through your troubles ... can not separate me from you (Short instrumental) When your out there in the world (Out there in) and you can't find your way back home (Find your way) I will go out in the world and I will find you I'll be your friend for life (I will be your friend for life) I'll be your friend for life (I will be your friend for life) I'll help you through your troubles (Dynamic ending repeat chorus and first 4 lines then repeat "Troubles will not separate" to fade") (For musicians and the curious) The beat structure is 4/4 time with 4 beats added at the end of the chorus for the last line except at the end when the chorus is transformed back to 4/4 time. The last 2 lines of the chorus is built on the word troubles saying the word only once, it looks wierd when read but sounds good when heard. This information is for those musicians who want to take a shot at reconstucting the beat pattern.
