AS HER DRUNKEN FATHERS ANGER FLIES
A BROKEN MOTHER SCREAMS IN FEAR,
ALL THIS OVER ONE MORE BEER
CROUCHED IN A CORNER ALONE AND CRYING,
HOLDING THE HAND OF HER MOTHER
SHE KNOWS IS DYING
JUST BARELY OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW,
THAT SHE MUST SURELY RUN
TINY HANDS FUMBLE GRABBING THE BABY
SO LITTLE SHE KNOWS SHE MUST SAVE...
THE BROTHER SHE HAS...
THE CHILD RUNS IN TERROR NEXT DOOR
BUT NO ONE IS HOME TO HELP HER.
THE BABY SCREAMS, THE CHILD CRIES
KNOWING FATHERS WORD WERE LIES
SUDDENLY A TENDER FACE
TO HELP THEM IN THIS DEADLY RACE
THE WORDS SPOKEN TO COMFORT
ARE ALL LOST IN THE CHILDS FEAR.
WHEN EVIL DADDY DRAWS NEAR
PLEASE CHILD DON'T YOU CRY,
HELP HAS COME SO YOU WON'T DIE
THE FATHER STOPS IN HIS TRACKS
AS MEMORIES FLOOD HIS WARPPED MIND,
MEOMRIES OF HIS FATHERS ATTACKS
SOON THE POLICE COME
TO TAKE THEM TO A STRANGERS HOME
WHERE THEY FIND LOVE THEY'VE NEVER KNOWN.
WALKING AWAY FROM THE INSANITY
STRANGER DISAPPEARS IN THE DARK
