Running through woods of marvelous views, The wind howls through leafy avenues. Birds that are far some near by, Wonderful plumage meets the eye. Over broken walls where creepers climb, To poppies sway locked in time. Paths that lead I could not travel both, Too far of places in the undergrowth. Spiders weave a threadlike stair, Or repair what is already there. Light beacons this time of year, Dancing shadows or so it would appear. On I run like a scampering mouse, Distance objects a disused house. Past crystal water that wicked gleam, Past trampled reeds in a sun bathed stream. My minds so free like errant wings, While all around nature sings. Floundering winds breathed and rolled, I disappear into the suns purest gold.
