I tried to be someone you would like
But I never was good enough
You told me it wasn't meant to be
There was someone other than me
You told me how you hated me
And I never was the same
You hurt me more than I can say
And I slice and dice because of this
You did this inadvertently
But it seems you did it intentionally

You told me how you hated me
And I transformed for nothing
For nothing I have become
I became what I hated
I became another face in the crowd
Another face with a frown
So lost in what I never found

But who says I never was good enough?
When I had it all
And I lost it all
Just to die in the fall
But who says I never was good enough?
Just to die for it all
I became someone I didn't know
For nothing I have become
Just to die in the fall

And I fall away to another day
When I never knew your face
And I can't grasp what I had
Because I lost it all
Because of you
Because I die

Fell for You

I tried to be someone you would like
But I never was good enough
You told me it wasn't meant to be
There was someone other than me
You told me how you hated me
And I never was the same
You hurt me more than I can say
And I slice and dice because of this
You did this inadvertently
But it seems you did it intentionally

You told me how you hated me
And I transformed for nothing

I became another face in the crowd
Another face with a frown
So lost in what I never found

But who says I never was good enough?
When I had it all
And I lost it all
Just to die in the fall
But who says I never was good enough?
Just to die for it all
I became someone I didn't know
For nothing I have become
Just to die in the fall

And I fall away to another day
When I never knew your face
And I can't grasp what I had
Because I lost it all
Because of you
Because I die
I fell for you

You did a great job and that' s also how I felt about someone I truly love and care about because I was the one changing at that exact point of time but also while I changing for him at that exact point of time I was crashing down into deep scary and unkown sea and he was just laying back not changing for me.

an interesting stroke of the pen ..
not what I'm accustomed to
from you:

"You hurt me more than I can say
And I slice and dice because of this"

I wonder about those couple lines-
