Array ( [sid] => 54329 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => WILDCHILD [time] => 2004-07-01 01:41:35 [hometext] => Sorry to those whom I might offend with this... but stop and think... it goes on everyday... life for teens these days is hard... w/ all the stuff that is thrown at them... they're expected to become adults... when really they're still only children... [bodytext] => She was just fifteen...
A teenage queen
Who liked to paint the party scene
She grew up a small town girl...
But she left her small town world...
And her small town ways... behind...
To chase her dreams...
To the bright big city lights
'Cause she's ready to prove to herself and to the world...
That she ain't no little girl... anymore

Now... she's just a WILDCHILD
In the big city...
Totally out of control
A hot flame... partying all most every night...
All night long
Burning totally out of sight...
She's a WILDCHILD
In the big city...
With a sweet... crazy... wild desire
To do anything... to set her heart afire

She's just a WILDCHILD...
In the big city...
Totally out of control
Who has lost soul to those things in life that aren't really whole...
Sex... drugs... alcohol...
And that good old rock and roll

Since... she has come to the big city...
She's been forced to become... a little lady... of the night
She'll do anything... she's told... for a price....
If you've got a burning sensation...
She's got the soothing medication
'Cause she's just a WILDCHILD... of the night

She's just a WILDCHILD...
In the big city...
Totally out of control
Who has lost soul to those things in life that aren't really whole...
Sex... drugs... alcohol...
And that good old rock and roll

She's just a WILDCHILD
In the big city...
Totally out of control
And now... she doesn't know...
How to regain control... of her life
'Cause her wild ways... have caught up with her... tonight
She's hit rock bottom... she's been left in the dirt...

Now... she's a child of those bloody streets...
The concrete pounding beneath her feet
Her wild ways won't help her... now
She's left to fend for herself... somehow
A WILDCHILD left wandering...
Roaming through the cold... dark nights
As she fights to survive...

She's a WILDCHILD...
(In the big city...)
(That's so... so right)

She's a WILDCHILD...
(In the big city...)
(That's so... so right)

She's a WILDCHILD...
(In the big city...)
(That's so... so right)

She's a WILDCHILD...
(In the big city...)
Roaming the wild streets at night

She's a WILDCHILD...
(In the big city...)
(That's so... so right)

She's a wild... wild... WILDCHILD

Life is way too fast and way too hard for them these days and so many get lost in that transition. I will keep praying.
