We joke and we laugh
but you say what I want to be real.

Winking, you say I'm your love
you say I'm "too marvelous for words"
you smile and you tease
with "a love song from the birds."

But what you don't know
is I really feel that inside~
I think you're incredible
but this I continue to hide.

I want you to know
but I don't know how to say it
my mind is so confused
because you continually tease it.

All of my friends say
that I should be with you.
You think it's funny
but I think it's true.

Why can't I tell you?
Why can't you understand
that I'm crazy for you

Why can't I tell you
how I really feel?
