why should i let myself be hurt,
like countless times before?
i push everyone away.
they realize it,
because they do it too.

who condone themselves as i do.
but why should i care,
if they bring me down?
or is it i,
who brings down the rest?
who really knows?
when it comes down to it,
ill find out one day.
but until then,
ill continue blaming myself
for being a piece of ****.

im sitting here,
nothing but a piece of ****.
i've locked myself inside
only to realize im nothing,

I dont think your a piece of ***** if that counts as any...I think your a great writer and that you need not give up on it...I too have felt the need to commit suicide and I have tried many times...and each time I try it seems liek Im here for a reason...but after everything I have gone thorugh it seems it is getting worse me finding out I have cancer I should have already killed myself if I still thought about it...if I was still the person I was a while ago I would have...I think you shoudl wait things out...because you just never know....

you dont bring down anyone but yourself...and you should stop...honestly please keep your head up...work on it...

well i can say for sure that a 'low self esteem loser' could not write like this. This was a straight up honest, balls out poem and those are the best kind. I've been in the loneliness and depression you describe many times and EVERYtime I have come up to see the light eventually and you WILL to it may take a while, but every time u do u only get stronger... Just be strong. I hope that writing is as much a release for you as it is for me.
