[hometext] => My thoughts the day after
[bodytext] => September 11, 2001 We watched in horror events of this day, through clouded vision, disgust and dismay. Losing lives at the hand of fear, heartfelt pain to all it was clear. Many a loved one lost in vain an unknown cause where no one gains. In disbelief, some in denial We watched today as Satan smiled. Satan’s smile has no hope to give, For throughout this country Jesus lives. Though today in this world sorrow is found, God is providing, and new strength will abound. We pray for the loved ones, the moms and dads, a suffering child his heart so sad. For courage and strength to find our way, the wisdom to help us in coming days. As we search for answers God guide the force, And for these answers we must stay the course. These hateful deeds cannot be undone, September 11, 2001 Elwood (Woody) McDaniel September 12, 2001 Copyright [comments] => 2 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 8 [informant] => WoodyMc44 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AmericanTragedy )
