[title] => The Hunt of Brothers
[time] => 2002-10-15 11:15:00
[hometext] => I saw this recent movie entitled "Brotherhood of The Wolf"and the movie compelled me to write this poem. And keep in mind that I didn't describe the movie. I just wrote of men hunting something. It might be a metaphor for something or someone but that's for you to decide.
[bodytext] => A new dawn begins
another one found dead So much life in this one now dripping from his breast The hunt accompanies the morning on horseback we shall ride into the darkness of the forest We shall kill it where it lies Distress brings in the night as the fires are now set Blinded by what we cannot see though our souls not worried yet Soon it's time to rest and wait for the waking to come Hopefully we'll be left Our first day here now is done A new morning brings in hope all men accounted for The hunt shall now resume as the sun opens our door We search the countryside wandering around for clues Then it greets us finally and we fear that we shall lose So large the beating heart so vulnerable, and so frail That is it's true weakness My hammer shall beat it's nail My men now are badly beaten as their souls relinquished north But I shall defeat this monster with the revenge that I have stored I'm glad it's soon to be over with one hit it shall be done As the heart of this beast has stopped it's body it is ripped from The pain is now all over for the people who have now passed The breeze breathes cool winds of change and death is an outcast [comments] => 3 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 31 [informant] => InexactExactness [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
